I have 3 credit builder credit cards all with low limits. At first I was pressuring myself to pay them ASAP but its defeating the object. Easiest way is to set up a DD but if you prefer not to, like me, just download the CC app on your phone and you can log in anytime and check balance.
I have a budget of £150 per month on fuel, which previously I would pay on debit, now pay on CC and just leave the money in the account and pay once I have had statements issued. Use form 2nd or 3rd day of Month, statements usually 28th, pay in full on 1st of next month.
Costs nothing as paying in full and demonstrates you are credit worthy and trustworthy by "borrowing" the money and paying back in full. Just always, always pay back in full.0
