TR1 transfer for tenants in common

Hi. Would be grateful if anyone could advise. I own 50% of a house as a tenant in common. The other owner is selling his half. Should I also be signing the TR1 for this transaction to indicate that I am in agreement with this as my co-owner doesn't seem to think this is necessary and is proposing to submit it without this.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Are you the buyer?0

No, the buyer is a third party.0

The TIC and 50% share both relate to your beneficial ownerships. We register the legal ownership. So the legal ownership is always transferred as a whole, not in shares.
The TR1 would be by both of you as legal and registered owners to whoever the new legal owners are“Official Company Representative
