There should be no restriction present other than in the flow valve. You can't get rid of the flow valve - its connected to the knob you turn and its responsible for reducing the water flow to get water to the right temperature you are dialing in on the knob.
The bigger the KWh rating of the heater, the more flow you will get, with a good supply pressure. Nothing else makes much difference, although they do loose some efficency over the years.
The newer heads are really giving an illusion of more flow as they have gernerally better spray patterns, but the difference is not amazing.0 -
Well when it arrived the 11cm was what I already had.
Anyway straight swap, so all back to normal.0 -
Try something like this https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.co.uk%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F132541570193I'm only here while I wait for Corrie to start.
You get no BS from me & if I think you are wrong I WILL tell you.0 -
Aldi sell 5-function shower heads (various designs/colours) with a smooth 1.7m hose for £9

With lower flow showers I find a narrower jet preferable to a wide one but obviously it's down to personal preference.0 -

Best save up the £100.16 to replace the heater too when it fails from using this recommendation..... And remember while replacing it youll need to turn off the mains and depressurise the inlet before undoing the screws in the inlet valve clamp or you'll crack the case and need to replace the whole thing at around £200. not very MSE.0 -

I’m glad I stuck with the Mira - thank you for your advice.0 -
