Paddypower Credit Card Charges!

Just thought I'd post about something that's happened to me recently.
I opened up a Paddypower account in September. I added 20 Euros and then later about 12 Euros when playing Deal or No Deal game on their site.
A month later I got my A&L credit card statement and lo and behold A&L had charged me £3 stg for each of those transactions as they'd been classed AS CASH ADVANCES! Oh! and 45p interest for the cash advance aswell!
Emailed PADDYPOWER who advised me nothing to do with them and take it up with A&L.
I have now found on the PADDYPOWER website squirreled away a note that Some credit card companies may take payments as CASH ADVANCES!
Just thought some people out there might like to be warned that this is going on so beware! Cos' I've been stuffed £6.45 for £23 of use!

Sorry to annoy you and point this out, but i think most people are aware of this, it is in your credit cards terms and conditions too that gambling websites may be treated as a cash advance, mbna is one of them and i believe a&l use mbna for their cards.0

I've been stung the same way. It especially annoy's me as I prefer to use my C/Card on the net because of the extra security over a D/Card.0
