i rang my store as it says will be charged the price in store. nice lady on phone went and got a packet and scanned them for us and they are scanning at £12.00 so even if people got delivery for yesterday the price would have been £12. and they dont HAVE to honour it its at their disgretion! i didn't bother ordering as knew it would have been £12 each! trust me if she had said 10p dh already had his shoes on to go to our one 10 miles away !!! lol
  • Don't know why people have got excited about this so call 10p lager, ASDA were never going to honour this.:p
Have we all gone mad or greedy? reading certain posts!!

wow there are 3 threads on this now!

They might have honoured it if you bought one lot with your normal shop, but for those that are planning on buying 200+ you are wasting your time.
They are scanning at the normal price.. and the person who packs your shopping scans as they go so you will only ever get the in-store price.

well i have placed my order lets see what happens, will this not come under the same thing as when something is mispriced in store they are obliged to charge you the price you have seen it at?

  • Asda have cancelled all orders.

I've just received an email from ASDA to say that the price was due to Human Error and they can't fulfill the orders so all orders have been cancelled. Damn, well it was good while it lasted

This was on Radio 2 news at lunchtime. Asda were quite clear that they didn't have to, and weren't going to honour the price as it was clearly a mistake, and their website terms and conditions are very clear about guide prices.
  • Dear ASDA customer,

Due to a pricing error on the ASDA.com website, for a short period of time, we displayed a
20 x 330ml pack of Heineken at an incorrect price of 10p instead of £10. This was a genuine mistake and the result of a human error.

As a result we have taken the following action:

We immediately removed the product from our website and will not be able to fulfil these orders for this product. We have therefore had no alternative but to cancel your order in it's entirety. If you still require other items from your order we would ask you to go to ASDA.com and rebook your delivery.

Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience caused by this error.

    Regards,

    ASDA.com
  • ok so why were they scanning for £12 if they were going to be advertised as £10? I smell bull**** lol
  • HAD ORDER CANCELLED BY ASDA WAS GIVEN A CS MAIN NUMBER TO COMPLAIN, PUBLIC RELATIONS ON 0500 100 055

TAKE A COPY OF YOUR ORDERS BECAUSE THEY CLEARED MINE FROM THE SITE THE MOMENT I PHONED THEM, HAD A COPY THOUGH!!
