I ordered online ,the order was accepted and acknowledged, however i am now concerned that they will charge my card the "full" price not the offered price.Hopefully if they do realise their mistake they will e-mail to allow the order to be cancelled.
  • they dont take the money out of your bank until you accept the order from the driver, or at least this was what happened on my last Asda order. Infact I dont think it came out until a day or two after I had my shopping coz i worried why they hadnt took the money

Just ordered for delivery Monday. Will watch with interest to see if any1 gets them delivered and at what price. Cant afford the full price so hope they dont just take the money. Let us know please
  • Asda have accepted the order but unfortunately their confirmation email states:

"You will be charged the price in store on the day of delivery and advised of the final price at the time of delivery to you"

I 'd say it's their get out of jail card!!

  • it states in the terms and conditions that prices online are the same as those instore on the day of ordering. As far as I am concerned they are 10p in store as this is what the conditions state! Lets see what they argue with in that case.
  • I've ordered them...being delivered on saturday morning. i'm so excited to see if they deliver! hehehe. bet they'll cancel it!

My orders also been accepted for saturday evening. Surely they can't charge a ridiculously different amount to the amount on the order without informing you? What will they do if you haven't got that much in your account? Can you just get the driver to take it back if they charge you £12 each?

Driver turns up with invoice that states price (which will not be 10p)...you tell driver to return them...driver puts them back into van with the other 100 packs he's been asked to return...you pay nothing.
Same as the toilet roll fiasco some months ago.:rotfl:

They will not cancel the order...you will have to refuse delivery (so make sure whoever is answering the door is up to speed)

well i have placed my order lets see what happens, will this not come under the same thing as when something is mispriced in store they are obliged to charge you the price you have seen it at?

that isn't the law when buying something from a store
