Call it a lucky guess but he won't be back on Monday

I think you are probably right.
Pity the OP did not take a few pictures of his fast departing vehicle.

    Doesn't matter - it's the neighbour's responsibility!

    No update from the OP.

Are we looking at a longer-running saga than
    first anticipated?

Sorry for the lateness of my reply. It seems there were some psychics in this thread. Monday came and went without a handyman in sight. I haven't heard back from the lady either but she did stop around my next door neighbor's house to take photos and tell them that she thought I was going to be a pain. I was nothing but polite so I do wonder what her problem is.
Something tells me this will be a 'longer-running saga than first anticipated?' as you say Dave.

Hopefully I will be able to get ahold of the homeowner soon and figure all this out.

    Thanks for the update. :)

Some people, eh? They drop a tree on your greenhouse and then surmise that you might be a pain!

Please let us know if there is a further development. I'm sure we'd all like to know how this one plays out.
  • Agreed - she's got a blimmin' nerve to describe you as a pain.

    The cheek of it...
