Travel insurance - covered2go.co.uk

Hi all.

I shall be travelling to USA in June as well as one or two trips to Europe within a year so want to take out annual, multi-trip travel insurance.

I've been searching around for the best deals (including MSE's recommendations) and found incredible variations in prices for what appear to be similar cover.

One of the companies I have come across is covered2go.co.uk. Their prices seem to be unbelievably cheap. For 3 people, myself aged 66, wife who is 63 and daughter 25, annual, multi-trip, worldwide including USA: £35.90 silver, £38.90 gold and £63.45 platinum. This top of their range policy includes £2000 for gadgets, £7,500 cancellation, £10,000,000 emergency medical and £3,500 personal possessions.

Does anyone have any knowledge or experience of this company, are they OK to deal with or should I look at some of the others which seem to offer less cover at higher prices?

Thanks in advance.
Chris

The policy is with them but who are the insurers ?

My last travel insurance was with GetGoing - one of the few companies that insured for my specific health condition - and they were underwritten by TIF. I had to claim for a travel delay through them and they were very easy to deal with.

Thanks for the reply. I've done some searches for reviews and feedback on them. Seems that a lot of people have given them good ratings but all based on the cost and ease of using the website. Very few related to making a claim which it seems to me is what really matters.
