I dont see the need for the !!!!!!.
If you arent prepared to back up what you say with real evidence then dont expect people to take your interpretation at face value.
I do.
You are asking for (free) advice and then talking to people like the hired help.
They're not. If you want advice where you can demand full citations, and have a flounce when you don't get them, go and pay for it!2021 GC £1365.71/ £24000 -

I don!!!8217;t think that!!!8217;s fair.
I have asked politely for people to back up what they!!!8217;ve said with references and not taken strangers at face value when they won!!!8217;t/can!!!8217;t back it up. I think that!!!8217;s a sensible position. I have not demanded or been impolite to anyone.
I have not upset any colleagues, been unprofessional (asked 1 question out of the 500 asked), flounced, crusaded, been dramatic or obsessed, merely asked a pension question on the pension board and a TUPE question on the employment board.
No need to pay, just contact the relevant authority (in this case the pensions regulator) and yes maybe I should have done that upfront but my previous experience is that on many boards people are helpful and do provide links to back up what they say.
I!!!8217;m cant imagine any sensible posters on here suggesting acting on the advice of strangers without first verifying that the information is correct.
Cheers

...........
you've already given yourself the link.
I quote:
"
When you must pay your contributions
You need to pay your contributions to your staff pension scheme on time. This includes calculating and deducting contributions from your staff's salaries. You must agree the due dates for paying contributions to the scheme with your trustee or provider.
However the law requires that when you deduct contributions from your staff's pay you must pay these to your staff pension scheme no later than the 22nd day (19th if you pay by cheque) of the next month"
which part of this don't you understand? The questions that get the best answers are the questions that give most detail....0 -
True that.
The new firm can then change things as they require to meet business needs.
That's the point, OP said the transfer happened in 1st Jan and it is now the changes are being made.
No longer a TUPE issue as the obligations were a carried over at the point of transfer.
This is now at best a contractual change procedural issue.0 -

Mm and a change of pay date is a variation of contract, which in theory they cannot do without consent. Royal Mail lost a case recently over it.
Changing the pension pay date I don't know if the same would apply, as far as I know it has never been tested.“I could see that, if not actually disgruntled, he was far from being gruntled.” - P.G. Wodehouse0 -

If you read the link the OP has given us herself you'll see that pension contributions have their own set of rules. Salary sacrifice takes employee salary & contributions out of the picture.

I have been provided with opinions of strangers and no specific links to back them up.
I've not read through the entire thread, or the one other people have mentioned over on the Pensions board, but there is no obligation under TUPE for the new employer to provide a similar pension to the one the existing employer has provided - just for any pension built up so far in the existing employers scheme to be protected.

I have been provided with opinions of strangers and no specific links to back them up. My contract says the opposite to those opinions (see earlier reply for exact texts).
Could I have the post number.
I am very calm thank you and not doing anything rash. I appreciate the importance of not doing anything rash and without proper facts which is why I'm seeking the correct information.
I don't know which comment you are reffering to and the context but I am bothred about the things in the list mentioned above.
The money is a different issue to my employer not doing what theyy explicitly said.Don't trust a forum for advice. Get proper paid advice. Any advice given should always be checked0
