No Hengus, not strong at all, I only replied in the manner in which JJEgan had contributed to this thread. He made his statement, and I gave my response, any tone harsh or otherwise is simply your interpretation.
I joined this forum knowing nothing about the Ombudsman and this is my first very complaint raised with any company/ supplier, so everything is a learning process.merchcon55 wrote: »You may wish to remind your supplier that IF you decide to go the EO route, the EO will charge the supplier to deal with the complaint. Depending on the amount of the error (you have not advised) it could well be in their interest to adjust your account.
I have had to go down this route twice and both times, surprise surprise, the Utility company "as a good will gesture" made the necessary correction to my account. Good luck.
It was merchcon55 who raised the issue of a charge. I simply queried this as I didn't think the EO would levy the big 6 with individual fees. Searches regarding this were vague at best. However, Kirwan94 has confirmed there is indeed a fee and they work within energy complaints. It's all a learning process and the above information will be of use to others who are also out of pocket from their suppliers actions.0
