Vouchercloud - don’t pay out on offers!

What is people’s experience with Vouchercloud?

I have attempted to use on what appeared an excellent offer on TUI - the old adage ‘if it appears too good then it is’ kicked in!! They used some debatable smallprint not to pay out and ignore all attempts to contact a manager.
I notice on Trustpilot that others have had similar problems. Really frustrating as could have got cashback via another reliable site had I not gone via them! :mad:

    What was the debatable small print?
  • I bought a TUI cruise online and they told me I had not got the payout because one of the conditions was:-

    not use any voucher codes, discount codes, or coupons (whether or not provided by Vouchercloud) when making a purchase

    However ALL TUI cruises and holidays online are discounted to some extent!! You don't use a code or a coupon etc to get them, they are just discounted. So what should be said is that online bookings don't count !!! Mis-advertising in effect :mad:

    What is worse no one will provide me with a senior manager's contact details - Appalling customer service!

    Hi daffodilly2013. It's Becky here from vouchercloud. I wanted to respond to see if I can help with your problem. First of all, I'm sorry you've been disappointed when using our reward offers. I can assure you that we do payout on reward offers & have many happy customers, and we'd like to help resolve your issue if possible.

    You've mentioned "debatable smallprint" - without knowing particulars it's a bit difficult to answer this for you, but I thought it might be helpful to explain how our system works. Our rewards are tracked and placed in users accounts automatically, based on tracking links which our users follow to place an order. If for any reason this tracking is interrupted we won't have a record of the qualifying order & the reward won't be added to the account. We cover the reasons why this might happen in our terms and conditions, for example using a different voucher code with your order, or disabling your cookies. These aren't included as get out clauses, but as requirements for the system to function - you can read more on this in our rewards FAQs here - https://www.vouchercloud.com/account/myrewards.

    We also know that sometimes errors can occur so we do have a resolution process in place. This requires you to provide proof of purchase & for us to be able to trace the correct proceeding actions in your account. As part of this process if it is obvious that terms & conditions have not been followed we will refuse the claim. It is the responsibility of the user to check these when using an offer & we aim to make them as clear as possible - both in the terms & conditions & our FAQs.

  • Becky - I have sent all the details because I was querying the tracking and it was then that I was told that I wouldn't be eligible but when I queried the issue that ALL TUI online bookings are discounted, nobody bothered getting back to me!!
    I will however follow this up with you though I don't hold out much hope!!
