Co-op sends meter reader 3 weeks after switch away

Not sure if this is normal, can't recall it happening on previous switches.
Switched from Co-op to OVO, switch happened on April 6th. I supplied OVO with the meter readings at that time. 5 days later Co-op generate a final bill (I'm over £400 in credit). Fast forward to today, a meter reader turned up which didn't make any sense as he was there for Co-op who haven't supplied for 3 weeks.
Are they just checking that the readings they got from OVO were correct?
I'm still waiting for Co-op to refund, they state they will process it 14 days after the final bill.

I doubt it . I do a lot of meter reading for Spark Energy as well as my usual BG, Scot Power etc .Many of the Spark Energy customers tell me they left Spark a long time ago or even over a year.TadleyBaggie wrote: »Not sure if this is normal, can't recall it happening on previous switches.
