Sorry if this is already on here but I have looked and looked and still confused by it all!!

I received a ticket last August stating I had an expired ticket! I didn!!!8217;t I had 1 that ran out at 3:47pm So, got a new one at 15:26pm. My mum got the 2nd ticket and she said she saw them but obviously not on my car! They issued my ticket at 3pm.

Unfortunately I was very angry and contacted them, appealed and of course it was denied! I then ignored them and received a letter in dec and then nothing until now where it says !!!8216;notice of intention to advise client to issue summons!!!8217;
However the letter before stated that it still has not been paid and I have not advised them that I was not the keep it driver.

I!!!8217;m so bloody confused and have no idea what to do!!

    Everyone is politely asked to read up on this in the newbies faq thread near the top of the forum before starting a new thread

    Please go there now to get an understanding of the game you are now caught up in and how to deal with a court claim if it comes to that

    If you haven't identified who was driving then edit your post to remove details of the driver

    The use of the word "summons" may be a shot in the foot, was this on land covered by bye-laws, (airport, railway station)?

    This is an entirely unregulated industry which is scamming the public with inflated claims for minor breaches of contracts for alleged parking offences, aided and abetted by a handful of low-rent solicitors.

    Parking Eye, CPM, Smart, and another company have already been named and shamed, as has Gladstones Solicitors, and BW Legal, (these two law firms take hundreds of these cases to court each year). They lose most of them, and have been reported to the regulatory authority by an M.P. for unprofessional conduct

    Hospital car parks and residential complex tickets have been especially mentioned.

    The problem has become so rampant that MPs have agreed to enact a Bill to regulate these scammers. Watch the video of the Second Reading in the HofC recently.

    and complain in the most robust terms to your MP. With a fair wind they will be out of business by Christmas.
    You never know how far you can go until you go too far.
