I just wanted everyone to know that they were correct, they thought i was current leaseholder and requested £28,000

So it sounds like the lease might be quite short - maybe it mentions the lease length in the letter.

If you do track down the current leasehold owner (or executor), essentially you should add £28k to any price they ask for.
  • Hi everyone,

did anyone manage to contact chime properties limited? I am needing to contact them ASAP but can’t find contact details anywhere!

    Thanks,
    Sophie
  • Hi Sophie I know the is a long time since you post but I’m having the same problem with theses cowboys.they own the land upon which my house sits and also a small plot of land adjacent to my boundary.I have a problem with a very large tree encroaching on my property.I’ve tried finding a telephone no or  email address none seems to exist or they don’t want you to know it.I’m now on my 4th letter to them all were signed for but still no reply.i even sent copies to the directors of the company still no reply.anyway hope you resolved your issue I’ll just have to keep pestering them good luck.
