Mersey tunnel and Mersey flow concessions

Just for anyone who has struggled to set up the concession accounts for the new Runcorn Bridge and or the Mersey Tunnels.
Runcorn Bridge(s):
I tried the week the bridge opened and was receiving 'computer says no' responses, contact via their online form was singularly unhelpful. Part of my problem was that although entitled to the disabled concession my vehicle is a campervan, which meets the criteria to be treated same as a car but the system couldn't handle. Things were updated recently and I tried again online this week, it all went through without a problem. £5 admin charge and then free crossings.
Mersey tunnels:
Although I've been entitled to the concessionary fast tag for twenty years the logistics of physically taking the blue badge to a Mersey Travel office whilst needing to park to get to the office have deterred me (admittedly I seldom use the tunnels and so it wasn't a major issue). With the prospect of needing to use the tunnels regularly soon I bit the bullet, finding a space and then waiting in the car park next to Birkenhead office until I caught the eye of a traffic warden worked, he understood the issue and even helped me park. Unfortunately my blue badge needs renewing in the summer and so will need to do again, but I know it is doable now.
