Switching Utilities - Cashback

I am looking at switching utilities and have done all the calculations and BG comes out as the cheapest. I have checked the specialist switching sites Martin recommends and they all seem to offer between £10 and £30. Topcashback.co.uk offer £60 for switching dual fuels to BG.

Does anyone have any experience of this? Also if I use a switching service do they do anything different/ additional that if i just sign up to BG through topcashback??

any advice greatly recieved

Try Quidco. There're offering £80, though only £60 came up when I did it. I'm going to query it as soon as I get a customer reference.

Switching service do nothing except forward your details (in my experience). You never hear from them again.

I'm tempted by this myself. BG would only save me £20 per annum but £80 via quiodco if you switch before 3rd November.

It's costing me an extra £20 per annum, but I can switch again when I get the first bill and get another £30 odd in cashback.
