Debenhams PPI

Hi
I've had a Debenhams card for many years. It was originally administered by GE Money, then by Santander and most recently by New Day. Do I need to complain to all 3 companies to ensure I get all the money back I'm due? Any thoughts welcome.

You just need to ring Santander and New Day and work out who has the records and liability.

Nobody is "due" anything, you complain about miss-sale and see if they agree

Sam Vimes' Boots Theory of Socioeconomic Unfairness:

People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.

  • I rang Santander last August and last week I was awarded £18000 for a Debenhams and Evans card. It does take a long time . You can find the contact number on the Santander webpage
