Two defendants in Small Claim

Hi,
Looking for advice or link to Civil Procedure Rules.
I currently have a claim against two defendants. One of them has offered to settle part of the sum claimed (without prejudice)
I would ideally like to take this offer and remove this defendant from the claim and persue the remaining defendant for the balance.
They are both big organisations so have the money.
I am not sure if either I can do this OR how to do this as I cannot find any relevant Civil Procedure Rules to guide me.
Any advice would be helpful. Hearing is getting very close:o
