How to delete completely ipod

I have an ipod that has stuff on it but I am giving it away and would like to remove everything already on it. Is there a quick easy way to do this?

Install itunes, make sure you have no songs on the itunes libary, when u go to sync your ipod it will ask you to erase it.0

Or click restore in itunes. Should be on the first page that comes up. That will set it back to factory settings.My mind not only wanders .......... sometimes it leaves completely0
