Relative has been scammed - what can Bank do ?

    Thanks everyone. The !!!8220;real!!!8221; police have confirmed this is what they call a courier scam and they!!!8217;ve received lots of such reports recently.

    We!!!8217;ve blocked the old account, new card and pin on their way. No cctv available. Yes she did draw out cash and handed it over to the scammer. She is !!!8216;vulnerable!!!8217; and always always runs stuff past her brother but he is on holiday and she didn!!!8217;t want to bother him !

    Anyway precautions in place now, as much as poss and she knows to NEVER do it again !
