I was 24 when my husband died in very tragic circumstances,he was 28 i was told by DWP i was too young to be a widow and he had died too young (yes extremely selfish of him!) luckily a very persistent friend discovered I was entitled to widowed parents allowance

It could have been meant as an expression of sympathy at a young life being lost and another devastated, but the person found it hard to express.

The forum can't cope with accents, you'd be fine just to write seance.

Update - pension increased from 74 to 197. Pension credit stopped.
Doesn!!!8217;t make much odds to her as she only gets £24.90, but of course I need to make the correct claims.

Discussing/agreeing deputyship today and starting forms (all 5 of them).

Glad the increased pension has come through. Good luck with all the forms.

Was about to say, your MIL would be entitled to your FIL's National Insurance credits, which is what happened to my Mam when Dad died. It may also be worth looking into Funeral Expenses Payments. https://www.gov.uk/funeral-payments
