Hi,
somebody has sent me a scanned picture but the original was very small so i need to expand it.
Is there any free software that i can download that will do this?
I tried do doing this by using paint but no success, and when i put on a word document it seems to spread across 2 or more pages when i look at in print preview??
thanks

A good free tool is this : http://www.irfanview.com/
Just remember, enlarging it won't add more details, just zoom in on it0 -
Picasa from Google is free: www.picasa.google.com0

It depends what resolution the picture was scanned at. Irfanview will re-size the picture for you (Ctrl + r) but if it is very small i.e. not many pixels, you can't expect to get a very good result. Blue text on this forum usually signifies hyperlinks, so click on them!..:wall:0 -
gimp is free, but as been said, if the original photo is small (in resolution) then any enlargement will become very rough.
