Student Loan repayment

Options
HI I know there is a table for this but still need to ask as I am still not sure.
I am in Northern Ireland, I got student loan for academic years 1997-98 and then 98 to 99 (I was then aged 28)
I have deferred apart from a few payments since then (I'm an artist ).
My query is, I will be 50 in July, am I reading the table right, does my loan get written off? If so is it an automatic thing or do I contact someone?
My next deferment period is the week before my 50th birthday. So there is about 9 days between last deferment date and my 50th. Should I be contacting anyone, or deferring as normal? thank you in advance
