Aparthotel - apartment repossed

This is a 100% genuine source.
I am the person he tried to con and beat him in court.danielscott13 wrote: »After doing a little more research, it appears that there is a man called Rob Ware behind the company and he has previous form for this sort of thing. He seems to have had numerous companied that do this and then disappear. The link below is all about him and while not the most reliable of sources, it adds to our worry that it's all fraudulent. Also, be prepared for some colourful language in the link!

The credit card company don't feel like they should do anything because if the company is still trading, there is still the likelihood that we will get some sort of accomodation as per the T&Cs we 'agreed to' when paying the deposit. I'm going to call them again later today with the further info we have found.0 -
Yeah we've seen that before but that, along with all the terrible reviews and warnings, the fact the apartment we have booked has been repossessed and that his company that took the money from our credit card (Ware Apert Hotels) has now been dissolved on Companies House, still doesn't provide any 'proof' that we won't get the service apparently!
We have to wait to see if we are contacted by them on the day to give us the access to the apartment. We've changed cards so they should also contact us for the remaining balance. We are basically just waiting for them to breach contract.0 -

The possible problem with that is that they may attempt to take payment using the card details that you originally supplied and if they are unable to do so, they might just cancel the booking without contacting you.
If this was to happen, they could claim that it was you that breached the contract by not allowing for the balance to be taken from the card that you gave them the details for.0 -

We've been attempting to contact them via email and phone for months now without reply or answer. If they responded and provided reassurances the booking would be honoured, we would happily give them the new payment details. If we can't reach them, we can't let them know the payment details have changed.0 -
The information that has already been shared is accurate.
Rob Ware had a large property portfolio and he has lost the majority of it. The information in the pubchat at the end (re the bridging company) is accurate, as are claims of dumping of asbestos. He was selling property then raising bridging finance after he sold it This is an incredibly complex fraud.
Find alternative accommodation - plenty of good short term companies on Airbnb - and contact your CC company for reimbursement. Make sure you make efforts to checkin, and obtain something from the new building operator to say they are not related to Mr Ware or his various companies to substantiate your CC company claim.0
