Google "you've been Gladstoned" and get the measure of your adversary.

Ok. I'm not trying to be difficult. I'm new to this, and was under the impression that this was 100% headed for the courts ...and therefore, wanted to get ready to defend it, not give up.

So perhaps I will write to Gladstones, quoting the PCN number (not the DRP ref) - and thereby probably proving they know nothing about this at this stage. And that they are just allowing DRP to use the Gladstones name as scare tactics ...and therefore making them look very unprofessional ...which may also be to my advantage if this does go to court. Then I will wait to see if actual court papers do arrive, and if they do, I will come back in here. Is that they way forward for me at this point?

if gladrags didnt send the DRP letter (they didnt) then writing to them is pointless as they are not involved and wont have any records about this as yet

you really are over thinking this

IGNORE the drp letters, even when its headed GLADRAGS

come back if or whan you receive a formal LBC or an MCOL

the newbies faq sticky thread tells you how to deal with those so concentrate on getting to know it intimately so you are in front of this

stop typing and do more research , and chill out a bit too

    No don't write to them!

The advice you got was to get ready to defend if and when you get a LBCCA

The creditor is listed as CUP Enforcement.

    Are you serious? Stay calm!

Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

No point in writing to Gladstones, JUST WAIT to see what
happens and follow the proven method on here.

As far as Gladstones being unprofessional, of course
they are, the courts already know that and they also
    know they are incompetent.
Unfortunately, a judge is duty bound to hear a case
even if he/she trashes it for Gladstones.
It's not a done deal for Gladstones, far from it and the good
news is that if you win, you can claim costs against them.

The key is doing your homework and do not correspond
to either DRP or Gladstones unless you get court papers
    and then get help here

The people on this forum are very experienced so best
    to follow their advice

And your individual situation means next to nothing to these guys - dealing in facts is the biggest mistake people make. It simply plays into their hands.

Gladstones are up to their ears in this scam. They are linked to both the ATA, (the IPC), and the IAS, they are being investigated by the Solicitors Regulatory authority after a comp-laint by an MP.

It would not be wise to accord them the respect you would to a reputable High Street firm.

Read what Parking Prankster has to say, if they were legitimate they would have sued the pants off him long ago.
