Universal Credit Application Form

This may seem a really silly question but I would rather ask than get it wrong and have to start all over!!
I recently was made redundant and now , 2 months on, need to claim Universal Credit.
I have reached a section regarding previous income and I am required to provide monthly income for the past 12 months for myself and my working partner (24 payslips-really??!!!)
I am unsure if they require gross or net income and there is no clarification anywhere within the application process.
Can anyone advise the correct answer for me?
Thanks.

For each UC applicant you would enter net income for last 12 months.
The comments I post are personal opinion. Always refer to official information sources before relying on internet forums. If you have a problem with any organisation, enter into their official complaints process at the earliest opportunity, as sometimes complaints have to be started within a certain time frame.
  • Many thanks.
The application is fairly vague as it is and a whole new experience for me!!
