In some of the threads I am reading there are several guests posting - how do they post as guests?
In one thread of Martin's on the mobile phones section it seemed half the posters were guests.

I think you will find they were old threads that you were reading in that case as guests can no longer post. Sometimes, if the threads have been going long enough, they were started more than a year ago and were imported over from the old forum.
