Club Lloyd’s and Bank of Scotland Rate Change

I have accounts with both at the current 2%. Just wondering what people on here are going to do when the rate changes to 1.5% in July?

I’m tempted to keep the Lloyds one and open their monthly saver, the £400 per month one, and then drip feed the £400 per month from the current account to the savings one.

But what to do about my 3 Bank of Scotland ones?

Thanks.

  • Thank you. Some good points there. I think I will move the £15K from BoS to my Coventry BS ISA which is currently at 1.65% and keep the Lloyds but drip feed into the savings account as I can still benefit fro the Gourmet Society membership which I do use quite a lot.

My plans at the moment, I think!

You can also have the Lloyds 2.5% monthly saver (£250) as well as the £400 a month one.

I will be moving mine into my Coventry BS ISA, but mine is only 1.35%. I wish I'd kept a small amount in my original Isa there, as I was not able to open one for ages. Learned my lesson now

I am also thinking of switching away my Vantage account, however there is the 2.5% BoS regular saver to consider...is it only available for Vantage customers?

Perhaps we can keep discussion to the original thread to which YorkshireBoy has kindly provided a link?
Did you really mean to put loose?
Lose: no longer possess, not to retain, unable to find
Loose: not firmly or tightly fixed in place
