Weird thing just happened...
I've been keeping tabs on my BTYahoo email on my Mac this morning, and I knew I had 4 unread messages.
Switched over to my PC to look at an attachment, logged on to BT, saw I had 8 unread messages. Had a quick look - a couple of bits of junk (not spam) something from Motley Fool about interest free credit, something from Creditexpert trying to sell me something to protect myself from fraud.
Yeah yeah, I thought, marked the creditexpert thing and one other email and clicked delete, left the motley fool thing (as I usually do) so that I could check it out later.
When the screen had refreshed, I was back down to the 4 unread messages I'd had sitting there all morning, and no sign of the motley fool one I'd intentionally left (although other MF mails are still there)
I can't be sure if the mails in my deleted folders include one of the two I intended to delete (I think one was about cheap flights and there are indeed 2 airline emails in deleted, dated today) but the Creditexpert one definitely isn't there.
Anyone have any bright ideas? I wondered for a moment if I'd logged into someone else's email account but the only person in the building who uses BT has never heard of MF
Anyone else had an email from MF today about interest free credit?
