Graphics card question

Dear techie gurus
I have a trusty 4 year old Dell desktop and am thinking of upgrading to a bigger 21"/22" monitor (mainly for two documents on-screen at once).
My graphics card is a nVidia Geforce4 MX420, and my query is will this support a resolution of say, 1680 x 1050? Have tried delving into graphics card properties and googling but struggling here...
Thanks in advance.

I've had a look on Nvidia's website
according to their specs the graphics card you currently have will offer a screen size of up to
2048x1536
if you had the option of running 2 monitors off the one card then the screen sizes would be
1208x1024
Have a look here
http://www.nvidia.com/object/LO_20020204_8254.html
this tells you all the screen resolutions your card will run to

At 4 years old Im guessing it was this card HERE , as you can see it gives the resolution details about half way down the screen....
I have nothing better to do!!!!
