Alcatel One Touch Pixi 3

I have a Alcatel One Touch Pixi 3 and wish to amend one of my People/contacts the manual says to go to menu which should be three dots downwards but it is not there.

How do I get the menu tab back?

    The People app has probably been updated and the instructions are no longer valid.

    To edit a contact: select the contact you wish to edit in the People app; tap the square at the bottom right of the screen; tap Edit; make changes; then tap Done.

    Thank you, I have sellected the People app but there is no square in the bottom right of the screeen
