Price before reduction

A house which I might be interested in has now appeared in my price range search on RightMove. It was preciously advertised at a greater price and has now been reduced.

Is there any way I can find out what the original price was other than asking the EA?

Using Google Chrome, I think the Property Tracker add on shows this. I certainly can see this on Chrome but not Firefox.

Is Property Bee no longer available?

    Was Firefox only IIRC.

Hasn't been kept up to date and is broken by the current version of Firefox.

    Try https://www.home.co.uk/
Do a search. When you click on a property you'll see a link to Price History. You'll get some blurb like:

"This flat for sale in Station Road, Harpenden Al5 first appeared on the market 99 days ago with initial asking price £300,000. A graph showing its asking price since January 2018 is available below."

I used to really like Property Bee, because it showed changes in status ( sold...back on market ... sold again.... back on market again) with dates, but it only used to work with Firefox, and you had to stop Firefox updating or it would break it. It does still work with Waterfox, but I think the quality of the data depends on how many people are using it, and that seems to be much fewer, I can't understand why something so useful, could have just been abandoned.

I've never really understood Property Tracker. I have it installed, but can't see anything other than the normal Rightmove details.

It's a bit more subtle than Property Bee - it adds an arrow under the asking price - mouse over that and it details any changes in price.

I use the Property Tracker extension in Chrome. Does basically the same thing as Property Bee did. Can tell you the price history of any property on rightmove
