No p+p on multiple purchase

Hi
I have a buyer who has bought multiple items and before I could invoice they have paid, but with no p+p. These are heavy items that singly would have p+p of £19, but I have weighed and got it down to £10. Ebay won't let me invoice as they have already paid. So I have raised an invoice through paypal. My question is can anyone think of a way this has happened other than the buyer putting 0 in themselves? If so why does ebay let the buyers alter the P+p figure themselves?
TIA Patch

You need to change your settings so that the buyer cannot adjust payments. Just log into paypal and refund the payment and then send a new invoice with the postage added and a note explaining the new invoice.0

Hi
CAn someone tell me how to change the settings for that, thanks0 -
From My Ebay Summary, look for "My Account" down the left. Under that will be Preferences - click on that.
This will open up a screen with lots of options, but you are looking for one called "Payments from Buyers" under the heading of "Selling preferences"
Click Edit, and change the one marked "Allow buyers to edit payment totals"<--- Nothing to see here - move along --->0 -

What did you quote for P & P on the listings? If you had a figure in then they can't claim you weren't asking for a P & P charge0 -
HI
Yes there was p+p quoted in the usual place for all of the items. Now that is odd - just did what stevew said and allow buyers to edit payment totals - no. So how on earth did the payment go through as 0 - have ebay got yet another glitch to go along with the payment not always showing as received. It says that the buyer can always edit postal cost if I don't provide them in my listing, but they are in each listing at the top clear as day. I even checked earlier to make sure I wasn't going nuts.0 -

Have you contacted the buyer? This would be my first move - to explain that you can offer reduced P&P (even if you didn't advertise this option), but obviously can't sent FOC unless he's thinking of collecting. If he's cooperative you could get him to pay the extra direct paypal to your account.0 -
Hi
Yes lola sent an email and paypal invoice for the extra .I am seriously confused and would like to know exactly how this has happened.0 -

Well it's up to him now then. As he's already paid out he's not going to do nothing as you wont send the goods, and he can't raise a complaint with ebay saying you haven't sent them, as he hasn't paid in full yet. If it came to a dispute he wouldn't have a case.0
