Cost of soil removal

Does anyone know how much it would cost (roughly, of course) to remove soil with the cubic area of two garages?

Probably can get it done for free on a site like freecycle or Shpock. I had some soil I wanted removed and had a few people more than happy to come over and dig out what they wanted.0

Quality soil will sell.
Stuff grows really well in our garden but under the relatively thin layer is builder rubble and clay.0 -
Based on my experience over the last few weeks...
Lots of people say good soil will sell... but in reality if you want it gone in a short space of time then you struggle to even give it away! We had great soil all bagged up and ready for people to just take if they wanted it - advertised it on facebook, gumtree and freecycle and proboably only had about 50 bags in total taken (of well in excess of 800 bags worth at a guess!) Ended up being removed as loose soil by a 2 grab type trucks at £240 a go!0 -

£3 per bag from a garden center, but that would be better quality.0 -
Try gumtree or the likes first. When we moved I needed some soil to level the garden - a gumtree chap had moved and the previous resident had built up compost 3-feet deep over the years.
Best soil I'd ever seen, I went back and forth about 4 times.0
