Bit of a development
I have enquired and can opt out of the company car and keep my own for use and am entitled to £4080.00 per year as a car allowance (plus a fuel card for company mileage)
Bearing in mind that i have an allowance of £35000.00 for a company car can anyone advise on what would be the best option going forward?
I have checked on the insurance and its not that much more to add business miles on and bearing in mind my car has just over £14500 miles on it the wear and tear is currently minimal so not really face with any up coming bills for repairs0 -

Up to you really. The options seem to be :-- Sell your own car and maybe have to put a significant amount in to clear the finance
- Take the company car money option and keep your own car
Personally the latter seems more palatable?
Also confirm you can change to the company car scheme down the line - perhaps in a year or two?0 -
All sorted
Sold the Merc back to the main dealer
Wanted £13000 for it and got £12850 (which was more than enough to pay off the finance) plus £100 back from the service plan that i had and £18 odd for the tax so happy with that
Big thanks to all who gave advice
Very much appreciated
