    Thanks for the feedback.

    I'm just annoyed that this wasn't a cheap hotel and that had they clearly said the waterpark was shut, I could quite easily have booked into an alternative hotel, such as on Lara beach, which also had a waterpark and was operational.

    The response from Hotels.com has been terribly arrogant too, just repeatedly saying that the hotel has a strict policy of no refunds of compensation.

    I've contacted the credit card company, so will see what they say, I just don't want the hotel to get away with this.
