Ah ok, I wasn't sure about the evidence part. I am sure the judge said to send a defence to the court and the claimant, I wrongly thought it meant to include evidence as well.

Point 9 I found on a thread on this forum from November 2016 titled UKPC vs Resident - Taking me to court :( - I didn't realise that was incorrect information.

I'll have another search and read. It's all starting to make my head spin! I really do appreciate the assistance though.

If you use my keywords, two lots of search terms above in my latest post, you will find 2018 defences. They improve all the time.

Attended court yesterday. Claim dismissed and £164.91 costs awarded.

Really happy that I spent many hours reading all the advise on here so thanks! :)
  • Well done! When you can bear to, please write a full report of what happened. It's useful for others in your boat to read experiences of other posters, and useful for us to know what points the judge took.

Woo-hoo! WELL DONE YOU!! Another one bites the dust!

Please can you type a 'court report' about how you felt, what happened, what was said, who attended and how you argued your costs?

And which Judge and which Court?
