Hi:
Is there an easy way to remove “Most Visited” tiles from Chrome New Tab Page in Windows 8 on laptop ?
I'm sure I did it previously using Chrome Flags but I can't remember how.
Thanks.

I think you can remove individual ones by moving the mouse over them and clicking the x in the top right hand corner of the tile.

Don't know about Chrome but in IE, there is a hyperlink stating "Hide Sites"

I'm aware of that one but I'm looking for a method of stopping these thumbnails of sites visited being displayed when Google Chrome opens.
I have been able to do it in the past but can't seem to figure out how to do it again.

You just hover on the tile and an x will appear in the corner that you click to close the page and remove it from that list.

Google's homepage looks a lot like the New Tab page, thumbnails aside. You could use that instead - or even about:blank if you prefer.

Settings > On startup > Open a specific page or set of pages

    Good idea.
    Thanks for that.
