SCS solicitor letter

Hi,
My girlfriend is a named driver of my car, and picked up some parking fines from Britannia parking for parking at her place of work 6 times without a ticket, totaling £400.
I've been ignoring the letters from Britannia and the debt collection agencies, but have recently received a letter from SCS solicitors. On the last page, it states "Please note that this letter is to be considered a letter before claim...." I need to respond to this one, right?
It also states that payment needs to be made to "parking@scs-law.co.uk".
Is it possible that this still won't lead to an actual claim?
Thanks.

Britannia never sue (as yet) so it is highly unlikely to go to a claim. I wouldn't worry!
Search the forum for SCS Britannia as we had a thread like this recently, with advice on it.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
