    Hi Lizzy,

not that i know a great deal about all things financial but just to give u a comaprison, i am currently buying a property and after al my outgoing go out, this includes food petrol and putting money away every month for car and presents etc, i will have £50 a week to live on for leisure, i too posted here and got lots of negative comments about buying but in your hearts of hearts if u really wnt to get on the property (as i do) then go for it, if your not planning to move for some time once u buy then if house prices drop u can just sit tight x
  • well, we bought the house and i can honestly say i know we have done the right thing !! even if it means budgeting, scrimping and saving in the years ahead and not having as much cash over per month, its a nice feeling to be in a house we are buying and can do what we want with ! even if house prices drop off a bit, i still feel happy with the decision we have made :-D
  • Well done and good for you! If it feels right for you then and it's somewhere you're going to be happy for quite a few years, how can it be wrong eh.

And now for the babies ;) or at least the fun of trying :D
  • Of course buying was the right thing to do, especially if you want to have children. Most landlord's run a mile from children, and not to mention puppies, kittens, hamsters etc.....all the pets that kiddies usually want. Congratulations on your purchase.
