maybe the wrong pace ... sorry if it is
but I am getting confused about necter points? are they worth collecting?
have been using necter credit card ( got a lot of points to take it out)
and collecting else where but my points have got to over 9,000 and when I look to see what they are worth in goods it doesnt seem very much
can someone please tell me the best way to spend them or advise if its best to collect other points ... eg amazon or tesco?

9000 points is worth about £45 in argosI started with nothing and I am proud to say I still have most of it left.0 -
nectar have 1/2 price offers on their site a couple of times a year - thats when to cash them in. Ive had CDs and phones for small outlays in points when the offers are on.
They are always noted on this board so keep checking - Martin normally mentions the dates in his weekly email - so make sure your signed up for it.
They arent as good as Tesco clubcard though. Thanks to everyone who posts comps :T0 -

curious - did you raise these points via usage at sainsburys or only elsewhere.....
(i have just been accepted for the nectar card and the sign up is 5000 points if you spend £200 within the first 3 months)smile --- it makes people wonder what you are up to....

Or better still just look up the website-much easier/quicker than waiting for replies here!:rotfl:0 -
At the moment you can cash in 500 points and get a free main meal @ pizza express. Using that plus 2 x free cinema tickets tomorrow so get a whole night out for about £8!!

If you shop in Sainsburys you'd be daft not too collect them, and they soon mount up. As Marvin mentioned the Argos exchange rate is £2.50 for every 500 points, and you get loads of bonus offers in the Nectar mailings with double and treble points on petrol and suchlike. Whenever we need something from Argos we pop in and offer the Nectar card to see what credit there is on it and often find there is more than enough to pay for what we want without any further contribution.0

Don't foget to get points when you do e shopping too. I always go through Nectar when I buy anything from amazon. I also signed up to "freeze" my points earlier in the year so that by promising not to spend them before Christmas they will double them.0
