nectar points?

I've only been collecting nectar points for a few months and have managed to get just over a thousand just from fuel at BP (fuel station I used anyway). When i joined they sent me a "triple points on next 3 fuel fillups" when i requested a keycard they send me another voucher and when I added my GF as a collector she got the same token but doesn't drive so gave it to me. They soon add up if you use them and used BP anyway. I say anyway because they are usually more expensive than supermarkets but there isn't any supermarket fuel near me.
I've spent 500 recently on the pizza express deal which came in the post yesterday. Hopefully I'll have a decent amount by the time the next sale comes along
I calculate everything against Argos tokens 500 points = £2.50 so each point is 1/2p lol.0 -

Is that right Cinders2001 because I bought something recently in Argos and the guy serving me said they weren’t allowed to give the difference in change, I did explain to him that I thought this strange as I’d purchased another item in another Argos store and they did give the difference in change.
Here is a list of ways you can spend your points.how many points = £1 ?
and is it the same in sainsburys, argos and debenhams?
If you need to calculate your points
You might find this page helpful for explaining how many points you can collect per store etc.0 -
Cinders2001 - I think Nectar points are worth it if only to use on your shopping. I have just over 6000 points and they are worth over £30 off my shopping, so your 9000 would be worth around £45+ I would estimate. There are also lots of other treats you can buy have you checked out their website??

Or better still just look up the website-much easier/quicker than waiting for replies here!:rotfl:
thanks, but yes i knew that, i was curious as to whether the OP had built them up solely at sainsburys and over what period..... or only at none sainsburyssmile --- it makes people wonder what you are up to....

We get a lot of points via EDF Energy, some through BP Petrol and Sainsbury's and some bonus points through surveys, although you usely have to chase those points up. We recently bought items from an Argos wedding list, which was fab, and I have also ordered a few Pizza Express vouchers. I think there is something for everyone with Nectar.Reclaimed thanks to this site:

Don't foget to get points when you do e shopping too. I always go through Nectar when I buy anything from amazon. I also signed up to "freeze" my points earlier in the year so that by promising not to spend them before Christmas they will double them.
How did you manage to freeze your points? Even if I have missed out this year I would be interested to know what to look out for next year. Sounds like a good offer if they do infact end up doubling your points.0 -
I don't get many nectar points but have managed to save 1300 so took up the offer of free perfume from Debenhams - will make a lovely Christmas present for nothing!0

You should sign up to the Nectar site. If you do online shopping through nectar e-stores your points should soon build up. You can get 2 points for every pound spent, sometimes they have double points offers. Shops on offer range from ebay, Argos, Play.com etc
