It doesn't bother me how much data Google have on me, in fact it fascinates me to look through it (and there is lots of it) but I do get concerned that a rogue government or similar (have I been watching to much Netflix - they also know what programmes I like to watch) might get their hands on that treasure trove of information.

Needless to say I like the convenience and functionality of my android phone and my Google account so I let the data harvest continue.

The information in your emails isn't used to build your advertising profile, only for for their AI driven response suggestions of calendar reminders etc. They have to scan your emails to offer anti-virus and spam protection as well. I'll continue worshipping my Google overlords !!!128512;!!!128512;
