The new series of Watchdog starts this week on BBC 1, Wednesday, 8pm.

It's worth a watch BY POPLA as it's about ANPR
PS: Not suitable for scammers or the IPC/IAS
(may show some distressing scenes)

Just listened to Andrew Pester, Up-Yer-Skirt's replacement. Oh dear, utterly puerile. Amateurish to a fault.
'Often the Parking Companies don't have all the information available to them when they issue a ticket' - so !!!!!! are they issuing them?
No asking him why private parking companies can use ANPR, yet are not fit for purpose for LAs to use. Why?
Very poor 'cross-examination' by the Geordie Girl. No sign of Pranky - maybe he got stuck in the car park. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Prankster ended up on the cutting room floor.:rotfl:0

yup she missed the 200,000 thousand (?) cases that get sent to POPLA
THAT WHERE REJECTED BY THE PPC's
even before POPLA can reject many ,many of them
beggars belief

Most of the Watchdog subject matters are poorly executed. Waste of time Matt trying to doorstep Rogue Traders and other matters are just skimmed over by badly briefed "reporters".
Piers Morgan should get the gig and Watchdog should reduce the number of matters covered and increase the depth on each one they do expose.0 -

Same thoughts Umkomaas
Not having all the information is now set in stone by the BBC.
POPLA not understanding, exposed by the BBC now
set in stone
The new BPA CEO Andrew Pester, was bumbling his way
through the interview ? ...... where do the BPA get these
people from ?
It just goes to show that any old Tom, !!!! or Harry
could easily be the CEO of the BPA
If this is the low standard of representation by the BPA, it is
no the wonder the MP said they are as useless as a
multi-story car park in the Gobi desert
Pester was pleased that Sir Greg Knight proposed the new
members bill and I wonder if Sir Greg fully understands
that the BPA is a defunct operation who has outlived their
purpose as with POPLA
I bet that the Prankster demonstrated a few home truths
about ANPR and maybe Capita blocked it
Nevertheless
Not having all the information
and
POPLA not understanding
Very powerful tools to now use0
