I went to Home Bargains today, found some delightful 6500K 1500 lumens (14W) e-luminate LED bulbs, the brightness and light colour is exactly what I was looking for. Price very reasonable at £2.99 each.
I looked in plenty of other shops, either didn't have bright enough bulbs or the light colour was a bit on the warm side for my liking.0 -

I've been using Poundland bulbs for a few years. 1 out of 20 was dead on arrival which they were happy to replace, and the rest have been trouble-free!0
