On the site that Browntoa links to they have replica gas mask boxes which I think would make a great box for the hamper (going to make my own though as they are £6 each). I will have a look in poundland at the dvds too as we have a big one near us. I'm so grateful to sophiesmum who has offered to copy me some bits too :j

I will show it when its done - I liked the sweets idea too - wow I'm so excited!

Not sure if you saw the drama Housewife 49 on TV with Victoria Wood. Another insight into the life of an ordinary housewife during the war - I'd like this one for Christmas too.
