What's happening here? 'Gone for good'?

Who/what is Parking Appeals (PADI)? Legitimate move, or a hack?

Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

BMPA Zendesk doesn't look too healthy either:
Bummer. It looks like the help center at bmpa.zendesk.com no longer exists.

It's a real shame. I found it a fantastic resource.

Looks like archive.org has a recent snapshot, you can also use the Google cache by searching
"bmpa <parking company>" and then clicking on the little green arrow next to the url result and selecting "cache".

No, rumours of its demise are premature and wrong!

I should have posted this earlier, sorry, been out. I have this update from the BMPA, from the horse's mouth:

''If you've been using or quoting the BMPA links such as the parking scams one at

    https://bmpa.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/categories/200972401-Parking-Scams

    it will no longer work.

All the BMPA stuff is being migrated over to PADI so you change the bmpa.zendesk part to padi.zendesk so the above link will read

    https://padi.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/categories/200972401-Parking-Scams

The BMPA links on the main site will be migrated over gradually''.

It's probably to improve the hosting of the website and/or keep it cost efficient I expect, after all it's a free resource.

Legitimately now moved to PADI and it's perfectly safe to tell people this while it moves across.

    :)

You'll likely see almost all websites even this one will be changing over the next few months due to GDPR. Even the Citizens Advice one.

Perhaps it is the time to ask CAB to change the stuff they are holding.

    Hello,
Has anyone got through to PADI? or any news on the BMPA move over to PADI as I have had no contact back from them since their last email to me on 23rd April. It's getting rather worrying now as they have been helping me on a case for the last year and now seem to have gone.

    Thanks in advance.

It is becoming a self-help information resource. I believe that PADI (BMPA) now just point people to pepipoo or MSE as they know we will give good advice and stay on a case.
