Dehumidifier for a 1-bed flat

Can anyone recommend a dehumidifier for a 1-bed flat? I've endured streaming windows in winter; sleeping with the window open has no effect apart from giving me streaming colds! I'm hoping a dehumidifier is the answer so any recommendations would be very useful.
Many thanks.

I'm forever blowing bubbles!!! :footie:

You might be better off first tackling the source of the moisture, do you have extract fans in the kitchen and bathroom? Showers can create massive amounts of steam which has to go somewhere and if the flat is sealed there is going to be a problem. Same with cooking.
As for a dehumidifier you wont need a very large one for a 1 bed flat, suggest having a look down B&Q, have a look for cubic meterage wrt size of unit.0
