budget for new kitchen & new bathroom

    Thanks all. That's what I feared after researching a bit more... that £20k is more like it, especially with quartz worktops. I'll update when I get the actual quotes next week.

    We are in the process of doing our kitchen.

    It is a large L shape (3m x 2.6m) with 1.4m square island. We have paid just over £8k for prebuilt gloss high quality units, a quartz worktop and AEG appliances (double oven and induction hob).

    We are fitting it ourselves but were quoted £2000 for this. The price includes the worktop being fitted.

    It is from DIY-kitchens online.
