Everyone is politely asked to read up on this in the Newbies FAQ thread near the top of the forum before starting a new thread

If after reading there you need further advice you must start your own thread and not hijack someone else's like this

Email it as a signed PDF attachment.
To the easily found CCBCAQ email address.

But before you do that perhaps change the start of the third sentence in point 1. to read:
The Claim relates to an alleged debt arising from the driver's alleged breach of contract...

Hi is this the email address to send the defence to ccbcaq@hmcts.gsi.gov.uk

So i put the claim number in the subject line and they will proceed to send it to the claimants.

    Thank you

Hi guys i have received aknowledgement of my defence from the court in an official letter. So i will wait to see what happens.

I am currently gathering the evidence, in terms of case law do i require the full trancsripts or shall i pick out relevant sections/summary?

It's not often a court sends out a receipt letter for the Defence.

Is there anything else in that letter that perhaps you need to act upon?
Please read it again very carefully.

If you mean transcripts of county court decisions, they are not very long so file them all.

If you mean the Beavis case, you don't have to file that, but if there is a paragraph that helps your case you can file a section of it with your WS, in due course.

    The letter is as below:

I acknowledge receipt of your defence. A copy is being served on the che claimant ( or the claimant's solicitor ). The claimant may contact you direct to resolve any dispute. If the dispute cannot be resolved informally, the claimant will inform the court that he wishes to proceed. The court will then inform you of what will happen.

Where he wishes to proceed, the claimant must contact the court within 28 after receiving a copy of your defence. After that period has elapsed, the claim will be stayed. The only action the claimant can then take will be to apply to a judge for an order lifting the stay. "
